Who We Are

Great Organization for Learning and Development (GOLD) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-partisan organization that works to reduce illiteracy, unemployment, and poverty in Afghanistan. GOLD was established in 2018 by a team of committed young Afghan professionals who wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of their fellow citizens. They recognized the urgent need for education, health, nutrition and livelihood opportunities for the most underserved and vulnerable groups in Afghanistan, especially those who suffer from extreme poverty, war, natural and environmental disasters.
